It’s just a PR stunt really. It washes off. Useless apart from during the summer, when it stays light much longer anyway…

I recall this was debated in full on Stw style a couple of weeks ago.

The paper I work for had a full page ad and advertorial half page in this week’s issue. My comment that more cyclists lives would be saved by getting rid of Volvos did not go down too well.

I still believe it’s main use is probably for stenciling retro-reflective, phalluses on unsuspecting friends clothing and/or cars when they aren’t about…

Most cyclists who want to be seen already own reflective clothing, stickers and lights and probably don’t need car manufacturers to help them, But cheers volvo none the less…
