Have a 17 Patrol and would recommend with the caveats noted above regarding the cable routing, running below the BB, and the cable routing seals letting in water. Its a fun bike but possibly not a good fit if you ride the more peddaly spectrum of trails, then a Scout or Spitfire would be a better fit possibly.
I think that in the weight stakes, all are on the chubbier side of what else is available.
