I have a Video Recorder – I have PCs and Mac!

So what’s the easiest way to covert our wedding video?

Is there any built in software in Win10 or Mac OS? If not what is a good free option?

    Cheers!

You need something to connect the VHS player to the computer, so how’s it gonna be free..?
You need a device like this – http://amzn.eu/fA6V7Jq
    cheap version – http://amzn.eu/38FiQF8

then you use something like Handbrake (free!) to do the ripping.

or you send it to someone else to convert for you (not money free, but faff free)

have you got a dvd-recorder (like the type meant to live under a tv)? I doubt you have but that would achieve the results.

vhs scart out to dvd recorder. once on dvd…your world is literally your oyster. Except for the woeful quality, flickery picture and muffled sound.

    Enjoy.

I might have the Mac video in lead somewhere…. but would need to find it.
Then you can use iMovie (not free but cheap but probably worth it if you want to create something watchable)

I’ve done some old video capture… you can then upload to Youtube/rip to DVD etc.

I can look for the lead…but it will be a week or so…. if you post it back when done.
