  • Vauxhall Zafiras. Are they terrible?
  • I think I’ll have to spend a few quid more and get a Ford S-Max.

When you started this thread, I typed, “Hmmm, maybe think about an S-Max?” and thought it wasn’t being much help so didn’t bother posting. 🙂

    Have you thought about:

VW underpinnings and build quality, much better reliability than Vauxhall / Ford

The BEST 7 seater I ever had was my Peugeot 307 SW
Well spec’d and huge glass roof 🙂
    Never let me down

lotta love for french cars here – scary because people slag em something rotten. my peugeot partners been pretty good. Only my fiesta beat it …. did 150k in my ownership (bought it at 90k) with only a steering rack , gear linkage and a second hand rear axel after i was rear ended.

    Premier Icon gofasterstripes

I crashed THROUGH the back window of a Zafira once on a racing bike, with my face, no helmet, at a roundabout, at about 20mph, 6 years ago….. Good soft glass design, need to thank the designer. My neck’s still not right though!

If I couldn’t afford a more reliable and better built I’d then get grand Espace before a Zafira

Don’t look at a Yeti, overpriced but a good car, but only has 5 seats
