Vaults are great but having found the end caps are made of swiss cheese and ended up destroying one to get the thing off, I’ve got replacements and normally I’d stick a small smear of copper grease on the threads to ease getting them out again. But is copper grease okay with DMR’s alloy stuff? I know some manufacturers warn not to use it but depends on material.

Where did you get the replacement end caps?

Various places do them, but I got some from Winstanleys Bikes

Would have been nice to get blingy ones, but seems they don’t make them for the Vault, though do for V12 http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=17073

Thanks, I trashed one of mine the other day.
I reckon I will put some copper ease on the replacement, I’m sure it can’t hurt.
