How long should I leave it before getting back on the saddle? Feels fine today 3 days after little tight near stitches but other than that. Booked it for bank holiday weekend expecting weather to be pants but typically nice weather now I can’t ride.

Dr said a few days off. Stitches are at top of ball sack.

    What do we reckon?

I would leave it at least a few weeks. I had mine done earlier this year. I don’t think my Surgeon did the new procedure on me, as my wound was far bigger than yours. He was the Harold Shipman of Vas Deferens!

Oh and keep the frozen petit pois close to the baby almonds. Definitely helps the bruising.

Not 3 days that’s for sure.

I tried a ride 2 weeks after mine, was fine walking around, driving, work etc but when I was riding just the motion of my legs on my spuds started as barely noticeable but built up to vomit inducing pain after a few miles and had to walk back.

I had the op on the 3rd March and was back on the bike exactly 2 weeks later. Imo   3 days is too soon and you could end up off the bike for months if you do any damage.
