Specifically the VN Chinook: Looking to hire one abroad, but their website is recommending a 56 frame for someone of my size (172cm/5’8″) That seems a bit big to me. Has anyone got one of these to get an idea of what would be right? My instinct is that I genearlly fit a 54.

I hired a 56 in Majorca and it was about right if slightly on the large size. I’m 6ft. A friend had a Chinook for three years; he is 5′ 10″ and rode a 52. Another friend who’s 6ft rode a 58 but sold it on as it was the size of a barn gate. Hope this helps.

Thanks. I think I’ll drop them a line & see if they are confident in their sizing.

    I’m 175 (5’9″) and have a 56cm Amazon. Measures up as a 54.
