Is anyone aware of any upcoming demo days in the North West England area (or thereabouts)? Realise it’s probably the wrong time of year but have a big birthday in April and want to try out a few things with an eye on a pressie to myself.

Not particularly looking for a certain brand at this stage, more just the chance to try a 29er, for example.

North West Mountain Bike Centre usually have a spring demo day at Roman Lakes, Marple.

That’s where I first rode a 29er, in fact I rode 3 (Orange, Santa Cruz, Specialized) back to back.

Wheelbase are having one in March I have booked to demo a 29er Yeti just to confirm they are a waste of money!!
They are charging £10 to demo though 😯 not sure if thats per bike or the day. I managed to get a freebie as I,m their postie 🙂

£10! 😯 It was always free and seemed to be a really good way of promoting the shop and for the bike companies to promote their brands. Still not a bad price, but being charged for someone to try and sell you something feels a bit off to me.

booked my yeti 29er at wheelbase the other day, no mention of money. What day are you out rich? 12 sunday for me.

Sunday will be up there early doors but think my time is 14.00!

NWMTB demo days are nromally held at Roman Lakes near Marple and Nick Craig has been known to do some guiding

May be too far away for you but Leisurebikes are having a demo day at Cannock on March 3rd – lots of different makes.
