A Rage Against The Machine brass cover band
(OK I already had The Apples brilliant version of Killing In The Name, but for these guys it’s a full time job)Posted 8 months ago
Nice! I really like that! 😎
Edit: the know your enemy cover is good too. I like the depth the brass adds to the tracks.Posted 8 months ago
They also cover Tool, the internet gives the drummer a hard time over this.Posted 8 months ago
I like their tool coversPosted 8 months ago
Check out the Pantera walk cover and Audioslave gasoline cover.Posted 8 months ago
That lassie has some set of lungs on her.Posted 8 months ago
Awesome, I really enjoyed that.Posted 8 months ago
Very good. Woke the house up. Love to hear more stuff by them…maybe some Prodigy.Posted 8 months ago
Playing in London in the new year!!Posted 8 months ago
Aye, Glasgow in March…
It gave me some British Sea Power “sea of brass” vibes except you don’t get inappropriately touched by a bear halfway through.
Different approach to same stupid idea:Posted 8 months ago
Love the Gasoline coverPosted 8 months ago
Oooh that’s dirty. Brings to mind Morphine.Posted 8 months ago
This one popped up in the playlists. Nice for a summers evening at a barbecue perhaps.Posted 8 months ago
Just listened to them doing Kashmir. Her vocals are perfect. Want to see them live now.Posted 8 months ago
Just downloaded the two albums, gives me something to listen to at work tomorrow.Posted 8 months ago
Frickin awesome, thanks for sharing! 🙂Posted 8 months ago
Rather fond of a bit of brass, that was frickin’ amazing! Thanks for that, I’ll be investigating more of their stuff. 🤟🏼🤟🏼🤟🏼Posted 8 months ago
Same! Today Mrs Pondo’s band won a place I the finals of the National Concert Band Thing, so I’ve posted the link to Wake Up as a suggestion for a finals piece. If what you reap really IS what you so…. 🙂Posted 8 months ago
Nice. Trombones need some brasso and some elbow grease.Posted 8 months ago
That was epic.Posted 8 months ago
It is great and the video is really well done. I seem to remember something of a similar ilk posted about 6 weeks ago now but can’t find it :(.Posted 8 months ago
Wow! Thanks for sharing!Posted 8 months ago
That was brilliant. Thanks!Posted 8 months ago
Listening to and watching that again, there’s a proper edge to it. There was a real edge to RATM but there’s a different edge to that. The singer is just amazing.Posted 8 months ago
Liked it for about 3 mins.Posted 8 months ago
Excellent stuff. Thanks for posting.Posted 8 months ago
Will give it a listen, sounds good…Posted 8 months ago
I saw them here a few months back, leant them a guitar cab! They’re great, sadly Sophia wasn’t on that tour (her rapping is amazing) but the vocalist did a damn good job, especially on War Pigs. Kashmir instrumental was cool. The drummer is a lot more fiery live, chatted to him afterwards about that, I think he keeps it too tidy and controlled in the studio sessions.
As someone who’s spent a lot of time listening to Rage and Tool it’s cool to hear a different twist which is so well executed.Posted 8 months ago
That was great, just need to decide whether to buy tickets for Brizzol or Brum now.Posted 8 months ago
the vocalist did a damn good job, especially on War Pigs.
Just played that one, cheers! I’ve sseen a lot of War Pigs covers, including by Ozzy, and they’ve pretty much all been shit. And like, boringly shit, in exactly the same ways all the other ones were. Even if this one had been shit, it’d have been interestingly shit, but it’s not.Posted 8 months ago
Brilliant. Been skipping through this stuff all morning.Posted 8 months ago
WOW! I think I’m in love with Sophia Urista.Posted 8 months ago
Playing Manchester on March 26th next year. Tickets £22.
Hmmm…Posted 8 months ago
That was awesome, hearing Rage’s dirty riffs on a saxophone made me laugh out loud.
Great vocals too, normally thats where cover versions go wrong but she was brilliant.Posted 8 months ago
I didn’t know my life was missing this either.
love to hear more stuff by them…maybe some Prodigy
Sabotage by the Beasties, would that do?Posted 8 months agoPosted 8 months ago
Liked it for about 3 mins.
Sir is unfamiliar with the original source material, perhaps. 😉Posted 8 months ago
