    The OH just text me to tell me someone has just been round and cleaned our windows without asking.

    She did actually make him a cup of tea and let him in the back garden (stop sniggering at the back) before realising he wasn’t actually our window cleaner.

    Have we jus been cased and I should assume my bikes won’t be there tomorrow?

    Bill was only half our usual cleaner though.

    She let him in her back garden and knows his name is Bill? You’d better keep your eye on the pair of them.

    I’m more worried that she made him a cup of tea, she never makes me tea.

    Similar thing happened after we moved into our last house. About a week after the move some guy came round and washed the windows, I think I was in the shower or something. Went to the door when he knocked – “that’s your windows washed mate” – hand out.

    I said okay, thanks but I didn’t ask you to. He umned and ahed a bit then walked off looking annoyed 😆

    we just canceled, ours… we had booked it as quarterly and he promptly arrived a month later, washed the windows and asked for payment. When told about the quarterly arrangement he feigned ignorance so we got shot. (full expect him to try the same trick this month)

    Window cleaners are like cats – you don’t actually decide to get one, they just turn up.

    …take one look at my house and decide not to bother.

    I’d love a window cleaner but can’t seem to persuade one to tackle the house for some reason.

    There are quite a few windows. Many of them are in awkward positions to reach with a ladder.

    My dad had one of these;

    I always thought he would have been a popular window cleaner.

    he always said the water pressure was specifically designed to be able to smash single pane windows so he’d have to be careful which houses he took on.

    Have we run out of window cleaner / back garden jokes already?

    Keep us posted on the ownership status of your bikes anyway.

    That happened with my missus, after confusion over the Christmas tip.

    She wanted to give him 20 quid, I said screw him, give him a fiver
