Just recieved a flyer from a company selling a product called ‘autosock’ which looks a bit like the equivelent of skins for skis.

Anyone ever tried them? Not really contemplating them myself as I just get the bike out when it snows, but I was wondering if they actually worked.

I’ve received the same email. Interesting! Could be good for short ‘get you up the hill’ type stuff.

I’ve got some of the Autosocks after twice getting suck in work due to snow (it’s a short but reasonably steep hill to get out of the business park).

It’s not snowed enough since then to need them though!

We saw a few people out in Les Gets with them (where they have proper snow) seemed to be working pretty well there.
