Got my new bike. meta 55 uk. its come with maxis high roller on front 2.35 and a larson TT 2.1 on back. the rear is all over the place on wet grass/ loose stone etc. ive been told by LBS 2.35 on rear 2.1 (not the TT). on the front. what is best? would a tioga factory DH 2.1 work on the rear with the high roller as i have one in my garage. help!

One of the demo bikes I rode had Larsens, absolutely terrible if there was the slightest bit of moisture. 2.35 front/2.1 rear sounds alright to me depending on your riding mind. I’d probably just fire a highroller on the back as well if you’re happy with the front one. Or a small block, to give something similiar in intent to the Larsen but that actually works.

Definitely larger tyre on the front. Very odd contrary advice from your LBS.

Agree with Northwind re choices for rear tyre
