- Tyre choice for MTB use on road
Big apples +1…. By far the comfiest tyres for road. They are large volume tyres so can be run at low pressures giving great grip and bump absorption. Roll really quick to. Quite hard to find except on the interwebz.
The super motos are pretty similar too.Posted 4 years agoThrustyjustMember
Got the Michelins from CR for a tenner each and are really chuffed with them at a sensible price too.Posted 4 years ago
Kojak for me but Big Apple/Supermoto would probably make a lot of sense here- very forgiving, run at a sensible pressure they’ve got stupendous grip in the dry and they very stable if you screw up/hit a pothole etc.
Also, they look bad-ass. And mtbs with skinny tyres always look stupid.Posted 4 years ago
