I have a 2.4 DD Aggressor on the back which ran admirably in French Alps/N.Wales, and a 2.3 Minion DHR on front. This has had a chunk taken out of the side wall so I’m wondering what next up front. I have a soft 2.35 MM in the garage. Beyond mixing up brands, is there any reason the MM/Aggressor couldn’t make a great combo?

While I could just try it, I know the MM is going to be a total pig to get on!

mmmhhh. Had problems with other tyres not getting really neat onto the rim…- but with MM no problems at all!

MM: this might happen as well!

Magic Marys with the Gravity casing would solve that, but they are a pig to get on!

No reason to not mix brands except that folk will point and laugh at you.

Yeah, the gravity casing is the thing. Last time I tried I struggled with one side, never-mind the other! Still, on it will go then.
