LCD Telly has gone kaput, few years old no warranty, but worth checking – anyone recommend me a repair service company in the West Mids area?

I just assumed everyone chucked away and bought new these days, hence the demise of the electrical repair man in general!

The main retailers tend to have repair departments still, Comet Currys etc, not much money in it for the small independent and hard to get spares / tech assistance. You could try them for a quote (but may need to pay out for it!)
Out of interest, what has ‘gone kaput?’
Is it totally dead, led’s lit, dead but buzzing, sound no picture? make and model and a bit more info would help……………….
