    After reading the xc thread I’m curious about why tubs are still used rather than tubeless, is it just a weight thing ?

    They have a fantastic ride feel and are very adaptable. You can also ride them flat.

    Mine a bugger to set up, a massive pain if they puncture, but they feel like riding a magic carpet, grip brilliantly and feel very fast rolling.

    I only use them for racing though!

    Not used by many at all. Yes they ride well and are very light but also puncture prone as are fragile and very expensive with a large hassle factor.
