    Bike's a Stumpy FSR Comp 2007 & It's in need of a new drive set.

    Bike came with Truvativ Stylo 2pc crank/BB
    Since I've had it, I've changed the various rings / BB when needed, but all three rings are pretty much worn.

    So, do I replace like with like or go for something like SLX ?
    (Will obviously be replacing cassette & Chain at same time).

    Rest of kit….which all seem to work fine:-
    Rear = Sram X-9 – long cage
    Front = Shimano M581 LX 34.9mm
    Shifters = Sram X-7
    BB Shell = 73mm (…from memory)

    Thanks,
    Chris

    SLX every time. I've had both, but SLX is a whole lot stiffer and if you go for the triple, the middle ring isn't made of cheese.

    SLX +1; BB will last longer IMO as well!
