    Someone @ work is selling a hardly used 2006 Trek Fuel 80, he's not sure what its worth so trying to find a neutral view on how much he could get for it as a friend is in the market for a bike and is unsure what to offer.

    As a side note, how was it as a stock bike, light enough for general xc I assume?

    it's a fairly basic build, tbh – rs judy's, SRAM x5.

    It's tricky – if you go to Pauls cycles you could probably get something 'equivalent' but new for £300-£500 quid I think but £250-£300 seems not much for what is quite a resonable little bike (albeit getting on a bit in terms of age).

    Don't know what it's worth…but they were a damn good bike for general cross country work.

    I've still got the frame hanging in my garage waiting for me to get time to put bit's back on.
