Considering getting one of the above in LWB form for general biking / family duties.

Within maximum budget I have noticed that I could get an equivalent mileage/aged 9 seated minibus version for cheaper than the crew cab.

To my mind this would have some advantages ie folding second row of seats (3rd row would be removed), lifting tailgate with glass window (hard to find on a crew cab), better soundproofing hopefully, sliding doors on both sides BUT would not have the ‘trashability’ of a ply lined (and carpet covered) crew cab van.

I would remove the bulkhead in a crew cab anyway, and not bothered about losing visibility through the rearmost side windows so is it easy, or possible to fit a ply lined kit for a van to a minibus with minimal faffing / modification?
