Hi – I’m looking for some advice on the training front please.

I’m pretty fit and do a lot of trail riding. However, I’ve recently started spinning class (bit lame I know but I thought it would be a good way to get fitter) and really going for it on 20 minute cycle into work a couple of times a week.

Not sure whether it is because these exercises are more intense/cardio focused that my ususal type of exercise but with couple of minutes of stopping, my face goes white, I feel faint/dizzy and hearing/sight goes fuzzy – this lasts for about half an hour and I usually feel completely wiped out the next day.

Any pointers on what could be causing this and how to avoid it would be great!

    Thanks

My diagnosis – you’re not half as fit as you think you are.

Plus 20 mins of intense exercise isn’t really ‘training’ is it ? The point of training is to prepare your body to cope with such a ‘work out’ not just give it some and find out you can’t.

I’ve re-arranged you user name to explain –
