As I understand it a regular end cap is compatible with a torque fork. If we’re talking about changing end caps, is there really any difference other than the through axle alignes better?

Quick bump to see if anyone has any comment this morning.

The do sweet FA so long as your axle’s properly tightened.

They’re more to do with RS/SRAM trying to retroactively justify all the R&D and tooling that went into their predictive steering standard than anything actually useful in the real world.

If your new bike comes with them then fine,m they don’t do any harm beyond a tiny bit of extra weight, but don’t go out of your way upgrade your existing hub for them.

Can’t notice any difference in stiffness when using normal caps or torque caps, wheel is much easier to align in the dropouts!

    As I thought. Ta.

As others have said only difference you’ll notice is it’s easier to put the wheel in if you have the caps, can be a bit fiddly without. My new bikes are torque cap compatible but my hub isn’t, still quicker than my old 36’s with a bolted axle!
