    Tom Petty and the heartbreakers. I’ve listened to his music, well the 3rd album
    for years but never knew what he looked like or what his group went through to
    until watching a BBC4 documentary.
    Very interesting.

    I rarely do the music video thing, typically listen
    too music rather than watch it, I’d imagined a totally
    different person and group to what I saw tonight.
    Maybe I should watch videos of all the songs I like?

    They did a lot to take some power away from record companies and give it back to artists didn’t they. I didn’t catch all the doc but the part I did see was excellent. Sounds like they were pretty hard living in the early days. Always loved them. Proper heartland rock.
