This is an absolutely stunning and beautiful piece of intricate stone carving about eight feet up an old wall near the pier in Berwick. Just put there to enthral, no notices, no fanfare and nobody taking credit, just put there “because”.

High above the Upper Swansea valley. MrsA had a good day today. I’m still recovering from my hip replacement but I’m going to get there, yes I am.

Felt a bit sad to see this massive tree cut down and shoved in an art gallery. It was an impressive piece, and perhaps to feel sad that it had come to this, just decimated for entertainment in the name of art was the point.
