Posted 4 years ago adjustablewenchMember I’ve always ridden time pedals – for two reasons, I like them and I have two pairs that are still going strong. However I now have more bikes than pairs of pedals. The two pairs I have are old 8 & 14 years, so I was looking at getting a new pair. Any recommendations for the newer models? Posted 4 years ago simons_nicolai-ukMember I prefer the stability of the roc atac despite the weight penalty. Posted 4 years ago adjustablewenchMember The ones I have are fairly old and bomb proof so I guess any new ones will be lighter (I think they are alium and atac ones if I remember rightly) Posted 4 years ago iaincSubscriber Not the xc4. Just go for ROC atac or ROC atac s. They are like the old aliums but better Posted 4 years ago adjustablewenchMember Thank you – will hunt some out Posted 4 years ago BigJohnSubscriber Mrs BigJohn & I both use Z Freerides. It means we don’t have to change pedals when on holiday we ride about in flipflops or high heels. Cue hilarious gender comments. Posted 4 years ago iaincSubscriber ROC atac at £45 on wiggle should do the job Posted 4 years ago adjustablewenchMember Was just looking at some – but turns out the are xc2’s (they look identical except for the xc2! ) Posted 4 years ago simons_nicolai-ukMember Roc rebranded as XC2 for 2013. Posted 4 years ago iaincSubscriber Yes, Roc atac now xc2. I’d not spend the extra for the xc4’s though Posted 4 years ago Viewing 12 posts - 1 through 12 (of 12 total) The topic ‘time pedals’ is closed to new replies.
