Had a session with a mate on an FS Norco Flight (not a Sight), a run around on my brothers ageing 26″ rigid MTB and a lot of riding on my SS BMC road thingy. Total joy with this weather and the rapidly drying areas.
Thanks to everyone who shouted out advice about me being in the wrong place, they didn’t seem too upset by my suggestions that maybe they were OVERbiked. 😋
I can see why people like it here. Love the fact that just over half a mile from the house the offroad riding starts.
One complaint about e-bikes. Stick your head up like a meercat and peer around and you can’t see any, but drop your pants due to a sudden gastric attack halfway through the deed you can hear them approaching in droves… 😳
Luckily one COVID bonus is now I always am riding with butyl gloves, antiseptic wipes and sanitiser. And all the bits except for the bad bad stuff ends up tied up in a glove for disposal at the end of the ride, so no litter.
