Watched it las night after reading the book a few years ago. The book was fantastic, I thought the film was great too. Great start, crappy middle section, with the zombie kids n all, the ending really touched me.

    Would defo recommend.

I REALLY want to watch this but as I live alone in a creaky old cottage I haven’t been brave enough to yet 😆

From what I have heard I wouldn’t sleep very well afterwards!

Of the three versions Book, Play and Film.

It has to be the Play…superb fun, excellent execution and very scary.

(I think it’s also the second longest running play in London? could be wrong)

I watched it last night in a creaky old haunted hotel, whilst away with work. I turned the lights off and i must admit, I did look over my shoulder on more than 1 occasion. Defo not for those with a nervous disposition 😉

I’d love to see the play, no way my missus would go though!

4 versions. There have been 2 films.
The original has a scene that still scares the pants off me, the remake was awful IMHO.

Looking forward to seeing the play soon – I hear it’s brilliant.

Ooh thanks, I will have to track down the earlier version.

    excellent film.

I thought it odd that it was a 12A – meaning you can take any age kid in.
Just because there are no boobs & blood.
Make a mockery of film grading IMO.

Ha ha went to see it with my brother, who’s 13, we were both watching it through our fingers, and I think at one point I might have broke his hand.

Yup good film although I preferred the book

Kept expecting Radcliffe to shout ‘expelliarmus’ at any moment

Had high expectations for the Radcliffe film, but thought it was a bit tedious. Watching Harry Potter amble around a gloomy house, waiting for the next shock, got a bit samey. It got better towards the end.

    Why is it a mockery?

Check out the BBC version, I believe it’s on DVD. Partly filmed in Lacock, I was in the pub with friends while they were filming outside. It’s proper creepy, with a serious poo yourself moment.
