Last year we survived from the little (not so) super market in Les Gets but it wasn’t stocked with fab foods like we were ready to eat…

Is there a large super market (like a carefour) on the way from Geneva airport to Les Gets?

I’m sure I remember seeing one but can’t remember where.

Bigger and better supermarket in Morzine by the swimming pool.

As weeble says the one in Morzine centre is pretty good, we’ve used that the last few years.

If you’ve got a car the one out of morzine toward montriond is much bigger again and really good.

Failing that if you follow the vallee verte route from the autoroute rather than going through taninges(?) then you pass a another biggish one one the way up.

again if you’ve a car there’s a SuperU in Taninges and a Carrefour in Cluses on the way up the hill from the A40, otherwise the Casino next to the pool in Manzone.

If you have a car there is a decent one, not huge but bigger than any of the other ‘local’ ones on the road to St Jean dAulps, approx 5km? out of town on the D902 towards Thonon

We used to go to the Shoppi in Morzine (probably more than stricly necessary) just to check out the 100% fit girl on the till, not sure if she’s still there though 😆

I like it, this is my sort of thread. Being a subscriber of “Which?” I’m into this.

(Unless they are going to Annemasse – which I don’t recommend) everyone who lives in Les Gets shops in the Champion in St Jean d’Aulps (actually half way from Morzine to St Jean d’Aulps). Big enough and not as expensive as the supermarkets in Morzine or Les Gets. The endlessride staff rate ED’s discount in Morzine too (half-way between the Tourist Office and the Sherpa.
