    Bubble-bleed your brakes.
Top up the sealant in your tyres.
Put your riding shoes in order.
Wrap up your spare inner tubes properly and store somewhere.
Tidy up your toolbox and/or tool drawers.
Scrape the black gunk off your jockey wheels.
    And chainring.
    And cassette.
Check how much brake pad material you have left in your callipers.
Untighten and move your seat post around to make sure it’s not seized in the frame (inc.dropper posts!)
Tidy up the end of your rear mech inner cable.
Empty the junk out of your CamelBak and/or bumbag.
Whilst you’re at it, check your pack’s puncture repair stuff is still in good nick.
Clean out and regrease you headset.
Check all the bolts on your bike are tightened properly.
Remove and clean your thru-axles. Furniture polish is nice.
Gather up all your used-but-functioning bike parts for your nearest bicycle recycler.

So new Bike Day then? 😉

    Inner Tubes (?)
I have a box full of mainly 700C Schrader valved jobbies from work to get rid of if anyone is nearby* is interested.

*This would be Suffolk only as the post is currently less than reliable. Orwell Mencap will be getting what’s left after Christmas.

Check for bearing roughness or play in your hubs/pivots
Remove, clean and grease your pivot bolts
Give your suspension & dropper seals a wipe
    Check for BB play
Check your bars and controls are still tight (because, lets be honest, when did you last check them?)
    Check for chain wear

Phone the bike shop and book my bike in for them to fix. Saves all the faf of me fixing it then taking it into to the shop anyway so they can fix all the original problems as well as the ones I have created with my efforts.

All five minute jobs preceded, interrupted and followed by a day of tidying just to enable them.

Stick down that bit of Invisframe wrap that’s been peeling away from the frame and gathering dirt underneath
