The Ducati Super Soco electric scooter is half the price. https://www.motorcyclenews.com/news/2019/may/supersoco-125-ducati-partnership/

    Looks okay, Alu frame.

Sadly the review vid is more an e-bike review vid than a review of the Ducati specifically.

Knowing friends who’ve got Ducati’s (996 SBS and 999) its bound to have a a belt that need regular replacement and will have a hideous uncomfortable riding position.  😁

they are manufactured by an italian company called Thok, with some ducati stickers. The bike itself is quite good with some good ideas as the batterie sitting underneath the tube to lower the centre of mass and the motor slightly up to increase clearance.

Yes, although he does say that they were involved in the design process, not just putting Ducati stickers on another bike.

Looks like a Haibike to me. Works, but isn’t very pretty.

Considering what classic bikes are now £5k+ that’s a bargain.

I mean I’d quite like a Yamaha TT500 for green laning, but a 748 for sunny days and some nice twisty road? Yes please!

Sounds & looks shite just like every other e bike unless you absolutely need one to get out there.

What you want what you really really want is a SM ziggy zigg ahhhhhhhh!

    For twisties that is.

I have literally no idea what tdog is on about.

Anyway, I quite like mine (motorbike, not ebike) and you’d be surprised at what you can get for not a lot these days. 999’s seem to be at the bottom of their value at the moment, similarly 749’s although styling is a little challenging. 1098’s seem to be on the way down too. Or go down the monster route, plenty of cheap bikes about there.

Not at all – I’m under no illusions that it’ll break and cost a fortune to fix. However it’s quite pretty to look at (handy on the side of the A12 when you’re waiting to be recovered) and I like the sound it makes. Having had numerous other makes of motorbike, this one excites me the most to ride. On that basis I’d recommend them.

    What does Eeb mean?

    What does Eeb mean?

E-bike essentially, or the act of riding an ebike, as coined by the legendary Sam Pilgrim on his YouTube channel.

‘Eeb it!’ … Is what he shouts when he’s riding….sometimes. 😆
