Just watching this, almost, real time train journey through Australia’s red centre. Adelaide – Darwen

Most relaxed I’ve felt in years. I’m practically horizontal

They’re about to get to Alice springs so I’m very excited

Just watching it now. Think it must be the white noise from the train interspersed with the images of the massive landscape.

Katherine was a big anti climax. Just think they’ve condensed 54 hours into a 3 hour highlights reel. Anyway, my mind has now transcended

Definitely not real-time. It’s a long slow old haul. But yeah the landscape is huuuge.

R-kid lives out in Brisbane and has driving up to Longreach this weekend. I had a Google Maps / Earth sesh to see where he was headed and once again the size of Australia blows my mind.

The sky is so clear that it looks photoshopped

the size of Australia blows my mind.

Flying from Sydney to Singapore recently, watched a film, had a snooze, looked out of the window, still over Oz. Watched another film, had another snooze, looked out of the window….repeat, repeat, repeat.

    Endless miles of nothing.
