Hagler smashed Hearns up in 3 amazing rounds. The corner men had been massaging Hearns’ legs against his trainer’s advice and apparently made his legs more tired than they should have been.
I just remember the humilating way Tommy had to be carried out at the end.

As they crossed the finish line, the crowd of 65,000 spectators rose to give Derek a standing ovation. However, as his father had helped him finish, Derek was officially disqualified and Olympic records state that he “Did Not Finish” the race

The Hearns Hagler fight was labeled as “9 minutes of ultra violence” Hagler had been cut so badly that the ref had warned him that if he didnt finish it in the 3rd then he would stop it. Hearns was a brilliant fighter that went onto win world titles at 5 weight divisions.

I still think Hagler beat Sugar Ray, I may be in a minority there.
