    You need very good quality porkers [obviously]

    Fry some ripe tomatoes for ages until they are pretty much mush, then remove them
    Take the bread of your choice [as long as it’s soft white] and fry it on one side in the fat and tomato juice

    make your butty, adding some of the fried tomatoes and condiment of choice [HP]

    When I was tired and hungry at TwentyFour12 the big sausage baguettes at the catering tent tasted flipping awesome. (with brown sauce I might add). Not the best ingredient by any stretch of the imagination, but it hit the spot.

    Pork & leek, thick, proper soft, fluffy bread (must be white-the only time this is allowed)

    Caramelised shallots.

    That ketchup they charge you stupid-money for at Farmers Markets.

    Sausages sliced in half to they are flat, sauce is a preference but good home made ketchup or the red onion chutney with cheese, maybe a couple of rashers of bacon.

    What supermarket sausage? Our local butcher’s are best but so this doesn’t turn into my ones better than yours, if we stick to supermarket we can go out and try them.
    Waitrose caramelised red onion is our porker of choice.
    Costco’s tastes remarkably similar but are dirt cheap.

    3 full Lincolnshire sausages (not sliced) between 2 slices of white butterd (or spread) bread with BROWN[/u] sauce salt and pepper.
