Very fast finish from Caleb Ewan to take second. Reckon the Aussie will be one to watch this year.

Hope Cav’s not too broken. That looked evil.

I’m no Nibali fan, but that was some way to win a bike race.

That was just brilliant from Nibali. Fantastic riding.

Apparently nothing broken by Cavendish but more whiplash injuries.

Treofeo Binda this weekend as well, on Eurosport player but with Italian commentary which is a bit poor, good race though

I’m not generally a Nibali fan, but I was really happy he won that race considering it was something he had dreamt of since he was a boy, and because he had such a good ride. His face at the end was worth it.

    EDIT: Great pics, klunk!

EDIT: I felt sick seeing Cavendish go over like that, but when accidents keep happening to him, I can’t help but wonder. Do you think it’s the Russians?

I bet he can’t believe they let him get over the poggio with a 15 second lead

Goddam Eurosport. Just sat down to watch the E3 (having learned the result already unfortunately) and it was only at the end when Terpstra was nowhere in sight that I realised I’d recorded the highlights of the 2017 edition! Eurosport likes to show them again but not tell you that it’s last years!

Ah well, it was a good a finish last year at least. Going to have to record the various repeats of the highlights over the next couple of days in the hope that I get the 2018 one…

Yes good sprint from Sagan, Van Art is strong but he was always stuffed with that group of talented riders, could bode well for Roubaix though
