Gave a mate in my running club a copy of a well know diet plan 😉 last week and she’s gone from 61 kg to 56 kg in a week so far. Most people say “oh the the first week is always water” but 4kg!!! WTF

Perhaps you weren’t doing it well enough, it being a new thing and your first time at it and all.

if the OPs mate goes back on the carbs now, the majority of the weight will go straight back on.
will also need to be flexible about weighing days relative to cheat days. Once settled in you will see the ‘actual’ weight loss.
