Really appreciating the soundtrack. Sounds like it was recorded by banging hammers on old pipes.

First one was a better story was it more original more action in the second one though.

TII is a big let down imho, john connor is a whiney little turd Im not convinced by him being either a computer hacker or a crosser riding street kid in any way, the set piece stunts are way OTT- im thinking of the truck chase in the drainage canal
linda hamiltons character is interesting and she plays it well
the premise of the T1000 is ok

the biggest issue is that Arnies star power has turned his character into a loveable good guy with half his lines played for laughs, the gritty nihlism of an apocalyptic future we saw in T1 peeks through occasionally but its just not enough to save it from the hollywood cheese

Camerons career has been on a downward spiral since Aliens imho

For years the canal chase in T2 was my reference “show off my AV gear” scene. The thunder, followed by the silence, followed by the kiss of the swinging spark plug as it ignites, is just seminal.

If you prefer yeeha yank firepower action to tense psychological thrills then yes.

79 speed box, world’s only 2 stroke XR, and the lamest throttle hand ever. Other than that, I like – Aliens is betterer though.

The hammer banging sounds in the music are used in toy story 3 when they are in the waste dump near the end. They wanted to use the terminator music but they couldn’t get permission so made some that sounded similar. I was sure it was the T2 music and had to google it.

T2 is an awesome film. The first two are both excellent.
