Im heading over to the ‘The Reef’ next week and wondering If anyone here has done any biking there. I’ll have to hire a bike and was looking at Lavatrax Teide descent. I’ve emailed Lavatrax but has anyone here done any riding there. Also is the tenerife bike park worth a go. Im going to be staying in the Playa de las Americas area but most of the riding seems to be up North. Your views STW massif .

I’ve done 2 rides with Lavatrax – Darran’s a top bloke! Did the Teide (long way down) ride and Las Lajas – enjoyed every minute – even when I skidded off at a bend on the lava and bled for the rest of the ride (got a few strange looks back in the hotel that evening, bloodied and dusty, but grinning like a loon). Never tried the bike park though.
