XT on both of mine, there really is no need for anything else…
Oh, and put some decent sized rotors on it, 180mm minimum.

XTR on the XC, BB7s on the Tourer (with XTR rotors). No point in skimping on something like that. Do you want everyone to think you're poor?

Avid Elixirs, because I've never found a brake I like more. Might treat myself to the x0 version when they come out though.

Hope XC4 put on 10 years ago. Can't see any reason to change.

XT levers with XTR calipers on my Ti Altitude.

I did have XT's until a few weeks ago, I now have Magura Marta SL's, in silver.

Can't go wrong with XT's if they're set up well. I just wanted some bling.

I have discs but not on my ti frame. Does my opinion count?

In a nod to the last time Labour were in opposition in the mid 1990s I'm running RED Shimano DX V-brakes on mine 😉

When/if it arrives, it'll be some unglamorous Formula Oro K24's on mine. Best balance of power and weight I've encountered to date.

I've got Hope X2's on my Obed, braided hoses with 160mm rotors front and back.
