    Afternoon.

I have a set of Fox 36 Float Performance Elite on the front of my 2017 Giant Reign Advanced.

I’m not sure they are working properly as they do not fully extend after pumping with the right pressure for my weight.

After checking the Fox website, the correct pressure for my weight is 68 to 73 psi, however, if I fully expel all the air then put in 73 psi using my shock pump, the fork only extends about 130mm.

I don;t know a huge amount about forks but thought it might be something to do with the negative air spring?????

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks.

could possibly be bunged up with grease so the air spring side will need removing & a clean out.

You shouldn’t be pumping them all the way up to the required pressure in one go. Put in 20psi at a time and then compress the fork slowly as possible several times to allow the positive and negative chambers to equalize

Cheers both – I’ll give it a go later.

    Thanks.
