    Why is it better for McNulty to do that instead of Pogacar, given that eventually Pogacar has to drop Vingegaard? (Genuine question).

    Because with BMcN doing it you have a spare bike to jump on and a rider to tow you back if it goes wrong. If Pog goes and kills of BMcN and then Vingo drops Pog, he’s got nothing.

    Brandon McNulty, never fails to upload a ride to Strava, and includes power

    todays monster performance, is missing (so far)…..

    Brandon McNulty did his by far the best performance. McNulty paced on Col d’Azet, doing 6.58 w/kg for 22:24min and broke a record set by Pantani, Ullrich, Virenque. Then paced hard on Peyragudes (6.23 w/kg for 22:57min).

    It felt like the ITV4 commentating team were all commentating on the incredible, barely believable ride by McNulty.
