Voigt or Sylvain to win by the way ๐Ÿ˜‰

Then again, this is the fifth time a Tour de France stage has finished at Plateau de Beille, and the stage winner has always gone on to win the Tour..

I dont see anything wrong with the stem if its being used on a mountain stage or by a protected rider – A slightly more comfortable bike would be very useful if you dont have to worry about the wind resistance.

    Come on and join me!

My wife (if she weren’t out shopping) would be proud: I’m multi-tasking 8)

Cripes this is a hilly stage. Very nice scenery.

They barely do/say anything to annoy anyone though. And Andy is just plain cool.

Sorry for being so late, thought someone else would’ve stuck this up by now.

Today we have Voecklers Colnago. I don’t think this frame is especially pretty, but I wouldn’t say no if someone wanted to give it to me for free.

However, that stem does appear to be going the wrong way.

commentator talking about LA’s victory over Basso in 2004 on this climb- on the previous stage, LA looked completely knackered, next day bounced back with anger for the win- commentator says-‘that told me all I needed to know, changed my opinion of Armstrong forever’ – is the tour commentary full of coded phrasing? Lots of similar references over previous days to ‘unexpected’ performances, both good and bad…..

Has Roy been in the peloton for longer then 5k at all in this tour?

Is Contador bluffing? We keep getting told he’s in trouble but I reckon he’s looking pretty good.

I told you vanendert would win.

    Hmmm.

Tommy suddenly able to climb with the climbers, call me Mr cynical..
The Schlecks are tactical inept streaks of wee, who deserve nothing so far.

i’m absolutely with crikey. that tommy v, who knew? and what a team. that pierre roland, better domestique than o’grady, voigt and the like, better than cunego. what a ‘performance’

    You’re out of order crikey!

    Who knew?

Maybe those of us who watched his epic struggle in 2004. Don’t disrespect Tommy! Noone is casting dispersions on Geraint Thomas when he storms up the Tourmalet…or Frederick Roy…

    Grrrr ๐Ÿ‘ฟ

    EDIT:

Tommy suddenly able to climb with the climbers

So you weren’t watching earlier when they showed his stage win here previously??

    Grrrr…..

No sorry, I’ve watched too much cycling to act like a French housewife.

I reserve the right to be as cynical as **** when I see that kind of ride. I would also bet my boots on the fact that a Frenchman, in yellow, at the Tour would never ever ever test in any way positive…

I thought that was a tedious stage; lets all sit and watch each other, lets not even try to ride with a view to actually winning. It was more like a 3/4/J road race where not letting anyone get away is far more important than winning.

I suspect we are seeing a clean(ish) Tour… bit dull.

he also had the legs. Someone will need to attack in the Alps, but yes not quite a race was it ๐Ÿ˜•
