Im looking to buy a 2011 Tomac supermatic frame.
The frame has a tapered head tube and i only have standard FOX TALAS forks, can i simply just buy a headset reducer or is a reducer for the actual tapered steerer and not the headset??

You’ll need a tapered headset and then a 1.5 to 1 1/8 crown race.

So ill be ok to use my standard forks a with tapered headtube aslong as i get this tapered headset and crown?

Yep. You just need to make sure you get a 1.5 to 1 1/8 crown race.
Hope do mix and match headsets.
I’ve got a tapered headtube and straight 1 1/8 fork on one of my bikes.
