My L Tallboy LTc has arrived. Funkin beautiful construction even compared to my gen 1 tallboy carbon.
Hopefully get it built in the next few days….

The one JungleProducts had in yellow a few months ago looked lovely and was the first one in the country I think. It was destined for the mags (Guy Kev had it) so was fully blinged up.

Taps fingers and waits for the call from LBS telling me mine’s arrived.

Oh and come on get some pictures up. 😀

Dave’sw will be building his up in the next few days, Fox CTD 34’s (Thanks Mojo!) carbon wheels, Hope and XTR kit.

Already for next week’s big ride. 😀

There were 10 hanging up in the place I get mine from – all sold. The yellow is quite lovely in real life very glossy. The black/orange is super stealth. I’ll try and get some snaps up on Friday.

your decking needs resanding as its oxidised… The bike though looks lush what wheels are on there and what weight is it? I was looking at one for next year with the Fox 34 and it was a sub 25lb with pedals…:-0

Moda – thanks for that, its Kwila so it is supposed to be like that.

Wheels are 2year old ZTR hubs on 355’s, i’m quite light and they have taken a beating so we will see how they go. REst of it is all the kit I took off my old TB (10spd Trail XTR mainly) pimp ho. All up weight, dunno, very light though – easily sub 25lbs.

I also found a beautiful big crack on my carbon Tallboy when i started to rebuild it. Right on the top tube in the curve above the shock. About 5cm long. Am talking to SC about whether it is warranty or not. Interesting thing is that it genuinely has never been crashed and has been ridden about 10,000kms but mainly in long adventure races plus general riding. Quite an odd place for it to crack really. Shame as I had sold it !!

Don’t mean to be rude, but not sure the waiting/loading work was worth the effort. The photo really does not do justice to the bike. I saw one “in the flesh’ last week at Biketreks in A’side. They are really good looking bikes especially the stealth black models (pun, intended). Real beauties!

What made you ‘upgrade’ from the standard tallboy (albeit now the cracked one) to the LT version. I am considering either of these but am on a fully rigid now and wonder if the weight (if any?) penalty and more suspension bob is going to be significant etc…..

I’ve tried the Bandit29 and the Tallboy LT.
Both nice bikes but i liked the TB betterer.
You might or might not.
Best try for yourself and make your own mind up.

Aye I was told the last to arrive would be the black ones in large – guess what I ordered….

I demoed the bandit and LTa back to back the same day.
The LT felt more agile and a better all rounder than the Bandit which seemed more DH biased at the expense of chuckability and sharpness of steering.
