first trip out with a (just turned) 8 year old son.

to say he is excited is an understatement.

whether he remains excited when it goes dark in the woods is another matter though!

he’ll love it. Might need a cuddle in the middle of the night, but don’t we all.

He’ll love it. Give him a stick to poke around in the fire later and his head will fall of with all the excitement.

Planning on having a camp fire?

If so take a mixing jug, some water, a study stick (cricket wicket size) and some of THIS. Mix up the gubbins quite thick, stick some on the end of the stick, let lad gently rotate it over the fire, remove when it looks cooked, fill with jam, await adulation from offspring…

I can’t take all the credit, a bloke we rented a house from on holiday introduced me and Vs Jr to it 🙂
