Having met a few Brits at the Swiss Epic in 2019, I wonder if there are folk who have entered it in 2020…? At the moment it’s a little way out in Wk 3, August so there is a chance that it could still run. Swiss authorities are intending to relax restrictions for gatherings of 1000 or less in public spaces and there was a mail for the event team yesterday hoping that it will still go ahead. The final phases of planning are going ahead…
It’s a tough one for the organisers and a difficult one to call. Not only the race itself but will accommodation and cross border travel allow people to get to the event? I think it’s clear that a 2020 entry will carry into 2021 if it’s scratched….
