The one that runs from the end of Collins Lane/The Pry on the Purton side, down past Mouldon Lake. What’s the ground surface like, would it be doable on a fattish-slicked, commuterey/tourey kinda thing? How’s it compare, say, to the old railway line that runs from John Lewis at Mannington up to Old Town?

Bit rougher than the old railway line into town and can hold on to water fairly well when it’s wet. Definitely doable on the sort of bike you described, and the path turns to a tarmac surface once you reach the lake. I’ve done it quite a few times on a cx bike without any issues.

Cool, thanks, sounds like I’ll be able to pick my way along. Cheers.
