toying with the idea of switching out my FS (Whyte T130 since you asked) for some fo this latest crop of hardtails which can take 29er and 650b+ wheels.

I like riding hardtails, but apart from a 29er a few times haven’t ridden since the wheels got bigger. swapped to FS as my knees were suffering. thought maybe the larger volume might be helpful, whilst putting some more giggles back into the riding. or maybe im talking crap
anyone done this interested in thoughts?

    I’ve got a regular (not fat/29er) 27.5 hardtail (Giant Xtc Advanced 1 – 100mm susp travel) and a Whyte T-130 … and I haven’t ridden the Giant in ages …

That said it’s quite extreme XC and I ride mostly trail….

The Whyte killed my knees until I swapped cranks… and 5mm shorter cranks makes a world of difference to me!
