    My issue njee20 is that you aren’t taking my v-light comment in context. Of course there are lighter wheels out there but for this application, in this material and with a decent stiffness and reliability (I also have a set of Flow EX’s with Hope hubs and these are comparably if not as stiff) 1,560g is v-light. Maybe we should meet in the middle and just call them light 😉

    I would counter your comment and say that a 1,400g wheel set is exceptionally light and you make compromises with that build that most normal people aren’t prepared to make (cost and durability/reliability mainly). Especially if you are riding out in the middle of nowhere doing AM riding and wanting to make best endeavors to ensure you make it home on your bike i.e your build is a borderline XC race/marathon and not AM.
