Hopefully someone will be able to help me out here by pointing me to a handy online tool rather than having to calculate sun paths, lat/long, azimuths etc.
There is a house. The house is the southern of a pair of semi detached houses. The front of the house facing West-ish and the rear garden is roughly to the east of a house. There are no houses particularly close to the southern end of the house, but a few fences and trees that could possibly be adjusted. There are houses the other side of the road to the west of the house.
Given that the rough plan of the house, location and orientation are plotted on most online mapping tools if you zoom in close enough (even an appropriate 3D model); is there any way to quickly model which hours the sun will be in different areas of the rear garden throughout the year? Ideally on to which I could add the heights of vertical obstructions to see how houses, fences and trees cast shade to make it more precise.
