- STWers who read but rarely post
I 'm on STW daily, but rarely post. Are there many others out – this is your chance!
Posted 8 years agoI think you'll find your kind are called 'lurkers'! 😀
Posted 8 years agoi meet loads of riders that lurk on stw 🙂
Posted 8 years agoYeah I lurk round here
Posted 8 years agoI don't think I post as often as I lurk these days. Can't be bothered with the amount of potential bitchy comments. If I've something to add though I will.
Posted 8 years agoi might become a lurker……………..
Posted 8 years agoid probably post more if i could type quicker – threads have often moved on while i tap away slowly with one finger
Posted 8 years agoCompusive lurker.
Without an account for about 3 years, with an account for about few months.

i might become a lurker…………….."you really dont know how disturbing an image that conjures up ton 😉
Posted 8 years agoMore lurker than poster here
Posted 8 years agoyep, habitual lurker here but when a really interesting thread starts like this one , i just feel compelled to join in !
Posted 8 years agobetter to read and rarely post than post but barely read…………
…….stw is becoming a bit of a spectator sport these days, just sit back and wait for the clowns to come on 😉
Posted 8 years agoHello, lurking around about 4 years.
Posted 8 years agoI wish some of the regular posters were lurkers 😉
Posted 8 years agoI lurk for a while, then pounce with several posts in one go on lots of threads…then go back to lurking…
in fairness I'm always worried that someone's going to quote my forum:classifieds posting ratio…!
I tend to search the archives for advice rather than getting several replies of "not again" or "search the forum" or "here we go again"
Posted 8 years agoI just dream about you all
Posted 8 years agothreads have often moved on while i tap away slowly with one finger
WooHoo I to am a keyboard pecker! Like a woodpecker with my index finger.
Posted 8 years agoDezb , i know ! i just 'lurked' that one !
Posted 8 years agothreads have often moved on while i tap away slowly with one finger
I believe the forum pros have secretaries they dictate their diatribe too.

I believe the forum pros have secretaries they dictate their diatribe too.
That would assume the 'forum pros' don't spend solitary lives in dingy bedsits where they vent their frustrations with the world upon us through the medium of STW.

Compared to the more prolific attention-mongers on here, we're all lurkers.sfb is NOT welcome here!
Posted 8 years agoI would post a comment but i'm only a lurker…..oopps too late!
Posted 8 years agoI'm a lurker a) because I'm in work…. b) not sure that I've got anything interesting to add/post (maybe others should take note of that one :))… and c) I can be bothered !!
Dont take that in a teenage lazy type way it's more to do with my reason b.
For instance, I'm at this very momment forcing myself to finish this post!! Because to be quite frank I'm boring myself let alone thinking that I will be boring you guys
Posted 8 years agoYes, another lurker here, Ro5ey's reasons are very similar to mine. The other time I've posted in the past is drunk late at night. I stopped that once I realised the rubbish I wrote in that condition.
Posted 8 years agoI generally lurk, but post if I feel I have anything valid to contribute (if I can be arsed) or if I need an answer to something.
Some of the constant posters are like soap characters, there are heroes, villain's, hardmen, lefties etc. All very amusing, but I'm too timid to enter the bitch fights.
Posted 8 years agoI do a fair amount of lurking. Having said that this is my second post today! 😀
I do post from time to time but only where I feel I have something to say.
Hello fellow, lurkers! 😉
Posted 8 years agoI usually find that by the time I decide to post on a topic somebody else (Ro5ey) has already said what I was going to.
Posted 8 years agoLurking as we speak. Post occasionally, but if someone asks a question I can answer 10 people have normally replied by the time I get there!
Posted 8 years agoHow ironic, Strangelove – you have just done that to me!
Posted 8 years agoall sound a bit pervy to me……..
Posted 8 years agostw is becoming a bit of a spectator sport these days, just sit back and wait for the clowns to come on
It was worse when there was no logon, the trolling then was spectacular.

Posted 8 years agoYes serial lurker here.
Posted 8 years ago
95% of the posts are not worth responding to, the other 5% someone would of made a valid contribution to.
So not worth responding ……………..My granny used to say "If you hav'nt got anything good/important/intelligent to say don't say anything at all".Actually If everyone subscribed to that there would'nt be anything on here would there.
Posted 8 years agoSerial lurker, unless I have something that I feel is relevant.
Posted 8 years ago
Which isn`t often………….Regular lurker and the most heinous of stw pariahs, a lurker that buys and sells in the classifieds.
Posted 8 years agoI read about 40 threads a day. I do about 1-2 new threads a week. I reply to about 5 threads a day.
I often repeat already expressed remarks – it adds weight, aligns the hive mind. Dunt matter if you say the odd daft thing – it's hobby forum
Posted 8 years agoLAT.Like your honesty! 😆
Posted 8 years agoI lurk on many threads where I just read because I am interested but have nothing to say /contribute or just dont know anything about what thet are atalking about – that may come as surprise to some!!
Posted 8 years ago
I am not a lurker but I rarely start threads.
Can I out Rudeboy as a lurker?LOOSERS! 😉
