These days if you hit the “Share” button on YouTube you get a nice short link like this:

(which is the short link for http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UJdCZLQN7ao )

But that short link doesn’t actually work with the STW “video” button:

See? Any chance you could fix it so it does?

Yeah but the short link maps directly to the long link – no redirection required – so it wouldn’t be very hard for them to add a bit in the code that handles the video button so that it simply replaces “youtu.be/” with “www.youtube.com/watch?v=”

Yeah seems to always just be http://youtu.be , no sub-domains.
